No. 16 Iowa State (15-3, 3-3 Big 12) held on to defeat No. 22 Kansas State (14-6, 4-3 Big 12), 81-75 Saturday afternoon in Hilton Coliseum. Melvin Ejim had 20 points and Georges Niang chipped in with 18 points to propel the Cyclones to their fourth win over a ranked opponent this season. Ejim had nine boards and Dustin Hogue grabbed 12 boards in the win. Iowa State travels to nationally ranked Kansas on Wednesday (Jan. 29). Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
