Biography Barrack Obama, Born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu-Hawaii, is currently serving and is the 44th President of the United States. Prior to starting his political career, Obama worked as a Civil Lawyer, later became a University of Illinois senator, and is currently the first African-American to be elected president of the United States. Barrack Obama was born to Barrack Hussein Obama, Sr. from Kenya, and Ann Dunham, from Wichita, Kansas. But the two separated when Obama was two years old and eventually divorced. Obama's father returned to Kenya, while Obama's mother married Lolo Soetoro, and then in 1967, the family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. Little Obama then attended St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School in Tebet for three years, then moved to Menteng 1 Public Elementary School until he was ten years old. Obama returned to Honolulu to live with his grandparents and studied at Punahou School from fifth grade in 1971 until graduating high school in 1979. Obama then continued his education at Columbia University, but because the white and black racial system still applies there, so what Obama gets is no different from his black brothers, namely the difference in treatment from those who are white. In the end, after going through the struggle against racism, Obama managed to get into Harvard University majoring in Law. From there then slowly his name began to rise and was famous for his courage to criticize racism in Chicago, as well as criticisms through his writings about equal rights between whites and blacks. In the end, he was appointed as a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law and later married Michelle Robinson, his close friend who is also a lawyer. His marriage to Michelle was blessed with two daughters. Their first child, Malia Ann, was born in 1998, followed by their second child, Natasha ("Sasha"), in 2001. After going through a long struggle in his life journey, Obama was finally elected as the senate for Illinois, with the mandate to fight for the two poor areas he represented. In 2004 Obama was elected to the Senate Democratic Party in Illinois and was appointed spokesman at the National convention in Boston. And in 2008, then he tried his luck to participate in the US presidential election. Even though he only has 4 years of experience in politics, he has received a lot of support and support.
