Check Responsiveness: Tap the person and ask loudly, “Are you okay?” If there’s no response → move to the next step. 2. Call for Help: Ask someone to call emergency services (108 / 102) and bring an AED (if available). 3. Check Breathing and Pulse: Look for chest movement. Listen and feel for breath for no more than 10 seconds. If no breathing or only gasping → start CPR. 4. Chest Compressions: Place the heel of your hand on the center of the chest. Interlock your fingers. Push hard and fast — depth 5–6 cm in adults. Rate: 100–120 compressions per minute. Allow full chest recoil after each compression. 5. Rescue Breaths (if trained): After 30 compressions, give 2 rescue breaths. Tilt the head back, lift the chin, pinch the nose, and blow air into the mouth until the chest rises. 6. Continue Cycle: Repeat 30 compressions + 2 breaths continuously until: The person starts breathing, or Medical help arrives, or You become too exhausted to continue. 7. Use AED (if available): Turn it on and follow the voice prompts. Deliver a shock if advised, then resume CPR immediately.
