What a dream come true 🥹 I spent 3 years working on this land, 2 internships + 2.5 years full time with Universal Creative as a mechanical engineer!🎢 And after many sleepless nights trying to make sure the colors of the gold coins were perfect and the motion of the shells matched the game🎮 Seeing Super Nintendo World in Japan completed for the first time was SO surreal!🥲 It was so fun going back to Osaka after two trips when the park was under construction ! Here’s everything you need to know if you’re planning a visit to SNW! 🍄 🎟️ Tickets:You can buy normal park tickets through the USJ website, but if you plan to do express passes too, I recommend booking through The Universal Japan website can be confusing for English speakers. Klook will give you a QR code to scan at the park gate! ⌚ Timed Entry:Super Nintendo World is under timed entry, which you can get in advance by booking an express pass or when you arrive at the park (limited amount). Our slot was at 1:30pm, and you can stay as long as you want! 🎢 Express Passes:Express passes in Japan are different than in the US. You don’t buy one pass for all rides. Instead, you buy a specific bundle based on the rides you want to ride. Book early if you want to get express for Donkey Kong Country or Mario Kart!! 💳 Power-Up Bands:You don’t NEED one to enter, but the bands make the land even more interactive. You can collect coins, play mini games, and track your scores inside the app. Highly recommend buying one at the booth near the entrance! 🍔 Food:There isn’t much to eat inside the land besides a few snack carts and the main sit down restaurant Kinopio’s Cafe, which you should try to get reservations ahead of time for! 🌟 Attractions: 🏎️ Mario Kart inside Bowser’s Castle 🦍 Mine Cart Madness inside Donkey Kong Country 🦕 Yoshi’s Adventure throughout the land Do you want to visit Super Nintendo World in Japan?? Luckily, it’s about to open at Epic Universe in Orlando, which I’m going to TOMORROW!!🤩🥳
