Gaara has always been a great character in the Storm Series and was well known for his attacks having a huge hitbox. I am glad to see that this has not been changed about him and that he is in fact even better than his previous counterparts. He does amazing damage, has a lot of priority on his hits, his loops are great and now you can extend off of his jutsus! One word of advice when going up against a Gaara player though… don’t ever challenge them in an AIR BATTLE, because you are bound to lose if you do!!! Thanks to ‪@iNDiGO470‬ I will showcase this character to you all, since I've been requested to play with him. Gaara has two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu sends out a sand wave towards your opponent. On hit it causes your opponent to be in a bounced state and you can follow up a lot of things after this (throw a tag, his second jutsu, dash, etc). This jutsu also does a lot of burst damage, so be sure to use it whenever you can. It does have a long start-up though, so use it cautiously and only around mid to long range encounters. His second jutsu sends out a load of sand projectiles towards your opponent and leaves them stunned if they get hit by it. This is a great offensive jutsu that gives you the means to keep the pressure on your opponent, while also keeping them in place for a cheeky grab or assist call. You can create a lot of setups with this move, so be sure to discover some of them in practice mode. Even though this jutsu is mainly used as an offensive tool, it can also be used as a defensive tool. This jutsu can keep you safe from an approach of your opponent, while also having them on their toes. Furthermore, Gaara is one of the only characters that has a two-hit combo infinite which is an amazing thing to have. He can pretty much confirm anything after these two hits and it deals a lot of damage too. Be sure to master this technique before you go online! Overall, Gaara is an exceptional character and definitely not one you should be sleeping on.
