Tomorrow, we will take the children deep into the forest.” Gretel began to cry, but Hansel took her hand and said, “Don’t worry, little sister. I’ll find a way home.” When everyone was asleep, Hansel went outside and filled his pockets with small white pebbles that shone in the moonlight.
