Why I Continue Wearing My Face Mask

The World Health Organization on June 25th, urged fully vaccinated people to continue to wear masks, social distance and practice other Covid-19 pandemic safety measures as the highly contagious Delta variant spreads rapidly across the globe. This is at odds with CDC recommendations for fully vaccinated persons. The Delta variant is on track to become the dominant variant in the US. It's far more contagious and none of the vaccines are 100% effective. A former director of the CDC offered some practical advice that I will share- Consider who you are, where you are, and what you’re doing. I discuss this during my message today. In my own little "bubble," I have close family members who refuse vaccination. I know my age and health risks place me at higher risk for covid complications. It’s a simple choice for me.
