Google Plus - https://plus.google.com/+Hyderabadwala Twitter -   / hyderabadwalaa   Instagram -   / hyderabadwalarecipes   Ingredients: Basmati Rice: 250 grams or 2 tea cups Chopped cabbage: ½ tea cup Green spring onions: 2 tea cups White spring onions: 2 tablespoons Diced garlic: 2 tablespoons Diced carrot: 3/4th tea cup Diced beans: 3/4th teacup Salt: 1 teaspoon + 3/4th teaspoon Black pepper powder: ½ teaspoon Vinegar: 1 tablespoon Cooking oil: 1 ½ tablespoon Ajinomoto: 1 pinch (optional) Procedure: 1. Soak washed rice for about half an hour. After half an hour, add 750 ml of water to a saucepan and switch on the flame. 2. Meanwhile chop cabbage, green spring onions, white spring onions 3. Dice garlic, carrot and beans. 4. Add 750 ml of water to a saucepan and add 1 teaspoon salt. 5. When the water comes to boil, add soaked and drained rice. 6. Stir at times, semi cook the rice and drain the water. Simmer till the rice gets tender. 7. Spread the cooked rice in a white bottomed plate or a bowl. Allow it to cool. 8. To an another pan, add oil. 9. Add white spring onions. Add diced garlic and stir for about 15 seconds. 10. Add chopped cabbage and close the lid. 11. Cook on low flame till the cabbage get tender. Stir at times to prevent burning. 12. Add diced carrot, diced beans, chopped green spring onions, 3/4th teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper powder and add 1 tablespoon vinegar. 13. Stir fry for about 30 seconds. 14. Add cooked rice, mix well on medium flame. 15. Switch off the flame. (Add ajinomoto also known as Monosodium Glutamate. This is optional.) Vegetable Fried Rice is ready.
