Advocacy Update

Did you know that we formed one of the largest coalitions of unions in Canadian history during our fight against CETA? We made sure that the Government of Canada heard your voice when it came to Canadian cabotage. The jobs of Canadian seafarers were at risk in that trade agreement, and the outcome was fantastic. Although we had to give a concession when it came to empty containers, we maintained everything we had when it came to cabotage and Canadian jobs.
