Particle Logo Animation After Effects, No plugins. Particle Logo Animation without Plugins, After Effects Particles No Plugins. In this video I will show you particle logo animation without plugins, after effects particles no plugins, without plugins, after effects tutorial. Creating a particle logo animation in After Effects without plugins is absolutely possible using built-in tools like CC Particle World, Fractal Noise, Turbulent Displace, and other effects that come with After Effects. Below is a step-by-step guide to create a particle reveal or dissolve logo animation without using any third-party plugins like Trapcode Particular. Particle Logo Animation in After Effects (No Plugins) Tools Used: • After Effects (Any version with CC Particle World) • CC Particle World (built-in) • Fractal Noise • Turbulent Displacement • Set Matte / Luma Matte / Alpha Matte PART 1: Setup Your Composition • Import Your Logo • File → Import → Your logo (preferably PNG with transparency or a vector logo). • Drag the logo into a new composition. • Pre-compose the Logo • Right-click on the logo layer → Pre-compose. • Name it “Logo_Precomp” and select “Move all attributes”. PART 2: Create the Particle Effect OPTION A: Particle Disintegration Reveal Step 1: Duplicate the Logo • Duplicate Logo_Precomp (Ctrl + D). • Name the top one "Particles". Step 2: Add Fractal Noise • Apply Effect → Noise & Grain → Fractal Noise to the "Particles" layer. • Animate the Evolution to change over time for dynamic movement. • Set keyframes from 0 to around 300 over 3–5 seconds. Step 3: Use the Fractal Noise as a Displacement Map • Apply Displacement Map to the layer. • Set Displacement Map Layer to itself (Particles). • Choose "Effects & Masks" for Source. • Set Max Horizontal and Vertical Displacement to 50 or more. • This creates a scatter effect. Step 4: Add Turbulent Displace (Optional) • Adds more randomness to the breakup. Step 5: Animate Opacity or Mask • Animate the opacity or use Luma Matte with the fractal noise to slowly reveal or hide the logo. OPTION B: CC Particle World Logo Reveal Step 1: Add a Solid for Particle System • Layer → New → Solid → Name it "Particles". • Apply CC Particle World (Effects → Simulation). Step 2: Match Logo Shape (Using Gradient or Matte) • Pre-render the logo into black & white or use a pre-comp. • Use the logo as a Luma Matte or Set Matte to restrict particles to logo shape. Step 3: CC Particle World Settings • Birth Rate: Start high (e.g., 3–5), then drop to 0 after 1–2 seconds. • Longevity: 1.5–2 seconds. • Producer: Resize to fit the logo. • Physics → Animation: Use "Direction Axis" or "Explosive". • Particle Type: Try "Faded Sphere" or "Star". • Add color ramp or glow for nicer visuals. Step 4: Logo Reveal with Particles • Use particles to form the logo or break it apart. • Use Track Matte (Alpha Matte: Logo_Precomp) on the particle layer to shape it. Extra Polish (Optional): • Add Glow (Stylize → Glow). • Add Camera + slight 3D movement for depth. • Use Light for dynamic lighting. Export Settings: • Composition → Add to Render Queue or Media Encoder. • Recommended: H.264 or ProRes for high quality.
