Hello Friends. Today we are featuring Yalla Mediterranean Grill in Methuen, MA! (Be sure to check out the link to video review in the comments below!) John and I are still exploring the amazing food scene in Methuen, MA, and we were craving some delicious Mediterranean flavors! We decided to share the mixed platters, and John brought his kids, who enjoyed a Pita Pizza with Chicken Tenders and Fries. The tabbouleh, hummus, Baba ghannouj, veggie grape leaves, and falafel were all fantastic! The hummus was thick and creamy, the grape leaves were hot and tender, the baba ghannouj really made the roasted eggplant shine, the falafel had a nice crunchy exterior with a fluffy interior, and the tabbouleh was one of the best I’ve ever had! It was fresh, zesty, tangy, and absolutely delightful. John and I grabbed some pita they brought us and made mini wraps with all the ingredients. The falafel was resting on a bed of pickled turnips, diced tomatoes, and parsley. They also served it with a creamy tahini dressing. They then brought us the rice pilaf with the beef kabobs, kafta kabobs, lamb kabobs, and chicken kabobs. The meats were herby and seasoned very well. They were juicy, and the veggies were cooked just right. The rice was also very, very good! We both loved it, and I personally wished I had come here sooner.
