I absolutely love this time of year, because it's so much fun watching these series. I break down each and every series, based on season statistics, the way teams played down the stretch, goal tending, experience and momentum. All of those things are factors in terms of why I picked who and how. Here are the series, and my predictions: Eastern Conference: (1) New York Rangers vs. (4) Pittsburgh Penguins Pick: Rangers in 6 (2) Washington Capitals vs. (3) New York Islanders Pick: Capitals in 5. (1) Montreal Canadiens vs. (4) Ottawa Senators Pick: Canadiens in 7. (2) Tampa Bay Lightning vs. (3) Detroit Red Wings Pick: Lightning in 5. Western Conference: (1) Anaheim Ducks vs. (4) Winnipeg Jets Pick: Ducks in 6. (2) Vancouver Canucks vs. (3) Calgary Flames Pick: Flames in 7.
