How to divide polynomials using long division? I'll show you the easy way with 3 different examples. The first example is the easiest, the second example is harder, and the last one is the hardest. First, you put the dividend inside the division sign. The dividend is the polynomial that's being divided, or it's usually the numerator. The divisor is the number that is used to divide. For example, if we take three divided by two, three is the dividend and the two is the divisor. Dividing polynomials is exactly like dividing numbers; you use the division sign. The remainder always has a lower degree than your divisor so you cannot divide anymore. That's how you know the division is finished, and you've obtained your remainder. Thank you so much for your support. If you have any questions, feel free to comment your questions down below. I read every single one of the comments! In the next video, I will show you how to divide polynomials using synthetic division. Other than that, keep learning math and stay curious.
