With shaders, you will be able to add shadows and change the lighting and even increase the realistic feel in Minecraft all with just one mod. First things first, we will want to download Iris Shaders. There is a link to get Iris in the description above. That will take you to our guide where you can click “Download” and go to the official download page. On this page, click the “Download Universal Jar” button to start downloading the Iris Shader installer. Next, we will want to download some shader packs for Minecraft 1.21.10. These are what actually active shaders in game. You can use any shader pack that you want, but we have a link to some of the best in the description above in order to help you find the perfect one for you. Most are downloaded from CurseForge. After you have Iris and a shader pack, open up the Iris Installer with Java. If you don’t have Java, you can get it from the description above. In the installer, click the “Install” button, and Iris 1.21.9 will automatically install. Now, go into the Minecraft Launcher and play using your Iris installation. Once you are in-game, go to options, video settings, and shader packs in the top menu bar. This is your shaders menu.
