SPEED PAINT: Mermaid

In this video I illustrated a somewhat original character that a mermaid. It's not the traditional Mermaid where half human, half fish but more of a fish creature with slight humanoid features. Also I'm trying out backgrounds for my illustrations with a more lineless cell shaded look which is something I'm planning for my future animations.
