Context: Okay so to explain why and how gundham was the killer: For starters, gundham basically grew up alone. His parents died when he was at a very young age due to a killing game (guess who) and his 2 siblings (guess who as well) also got kidnapped around the time of his parents deaths. And gundham did not have someone to protect him like fuyuhiko did,so he was forced to learn self defense. He would train himself how to use guns,knifes,grenades,learn how to dodge and attack. Now gundham is the ultimate yakuza so he must have used these skills of his a lot well thatâs not the case. Gundham always had a good heart even if he looked intimidating and as if he doesnât care about anything or anyone but he has never killed a human before and his yakuza gang would do the work for him. He never thought he would have to use his skills on anyone up until now. He found himself stuck in this crazy situation with his girlfriend and classmates, forced to kill each other. The thought of murder never crossed his mind but when he was stuck in that situation with kazuichi, he knew it was kill or be killed. When kazuichi put the blade up to his neck,gundham kicked soda to get him off only enraging kazuichi more. Gundham kept trying to reason with soda but he wouldnât listen, he kept saying how he stole Sonia away from him and that he couldnât bear seeing them together anymore which made gundham look at kazuichi in disgust. Who would have thought that his best friend, would try to kill him because of jealousy. So they started fighting,knocking tables down, tearing the curtains until gundham landed a big punch on kazuichiâs face,knocking him out. Gundham sat there, thinking if he should finish the job but was hesitant. Until finally,he decided to just get it over with,stabbing kazuichi 3 times just to make sure he was dead. A few minutes later,mahiru walked in to check on gundham only to see gundham disposing of the evidence. She tried running away hiding behind a table thinking gundham wouldnât see her because of the darkness but boy was she wrong. Next thing she knew, she felt a sharp pain in her throat while her neck was being tugged at. When she tried to get the piece of fabric of her neck but gundham was stronger then her. He pulled so much her neck turned blue just to make sure she is dead. Gundham again started getting rid of evidence which took some time between him hesitating and regretting until he heard someone,none other then fuyuhiko, walking in and asking if someone was there. Gundham took the knife he finished kazuichi with, pointing it at fuyuhiko but fuyuhiko could not see as it was almost 4:00 AM. Then as you know,fuyuhiko tripped on the piece of fabric that was used to kill mahiru, and ran to tell the others that someone tried to kill him shile gundham fled from the scene. And to all of you guys thinking Mikan did it, amazing theory I was really impressed with you guys conclusion but if you thought about it more, why would kazuichi try to kill mikan even if he knew he would lose? He didnât have any motive against her and he knew he could take advantage of gundham because of his kind heart and Kazuichi also had a motive against gundham, he was jealous of his relationship with Sonia and we all know he had a crush on Sonia so he thought his best target was gundham.
