Just wow. This shows continues to add depth to Askeladd's complex character and I am all for it! I'm glad that Bjorn acknowledged how lonely Askeladd must be with the life he has chosen to live and how he accepted that despite the hate he still looked up to him 💔 I expected this to had been an emotional episode specifically with Thorfinn and Leif but the ending was what stole my heart much to my surprise. My first time reaction to a VIKING anime! Vinland Saga has been able to immerse me in its complex world of intense battles and enriching storytelling. Follow me as I continue to see what kind of man Thorfinn will become. Will he get his revenge on Askeladd? Will he find out what Thors meant on what it means to be a “true warrior”?
