Previously in Part 7, Wuchang defeated the Perfect Bride — Fang Ling, and the South General — Liu Wenxiu. If you missed that episode, you can check it out through the link provided. In Part 8, Wuchang uncovers the hidden temple and secures Shan’s Blight Ward after battling through waves of enemies inside. With the area cleared, she returns to the main path, which leads her to face the powerful Fierce Tiger boss. After defeating the Fierce Tiger, Wuchang pushes forward and encounters a familiar nightmare — the monstrous toddler, Bai Kru, first seen at the very beginning of the game. Following this battle, she speaks with the storyteller, who teleports her to a point of no return, deep into the chaos that begins tearing the world apart. Before moving forward, Wuchang also visits the Refugee Camp, descending into the Facci Forest to hunt down and defeat the side boss, Bo Sorcerer.
