Science Project - Egg Drop Experiment

In February of 2021, the Perseverance rover from NASA successfully landed on Mars! One of the initial challenges for the scientists was to create a landing vehicle that could safely protect the rover when dropped onto the surface of Mars. This egg drop project was inspired by the Perseverance rover, and we had to use science, logic, and physics ideas to protect the egg! Instructions: Create a landing vehicle that will protect a raw egg from a 2 meter drop! Materials: 4 cardboard straws, string, a balloon, unlimited paper, 1 meter of tape Spoiler: My egg drop design survived the fall from both second and third story buildings!
