Tuesday's extended Cleveland weather forecast:

Cleveland weather forecast for Tuesday, April 16, 2024. We're in store for a beautiful Tuesday as high pressure remains in control of our immediate forecast. We'll have lots of sunshine with high clouds from time to time as temps push into the mid 70s this afternoon. We will be much cooler near the lakeshore today as a lake breeze develops keeping lakeshore communities in the 50s. Attention then turns towards our next storm system that will be coming out of the central Plains. This system will bring a multi-day severe weather threat to the Plains and then eventually into the Ohio Valley on Wednesday. We'll run the risk of a few downpours for the morning rush hour Wednesday. Rain and a few rumbles will be scattered throughout the morning before we briefly clear up during the afternoon hours. Another line of storms will work in with the cold front itself later in the afternoon towards evening -- it's this line we'll have to keep an eye on for a severe potential with damaging winds being the primary threat. Temps during the afternoon should surge into the mid and even upper 70s if we can clear out. Behind the front it turns a bit cooler Thursday before another frontal boundary moves in Friday bringing more showers and a shot of cooler air for the weekend. Ready to plant? Don't be quite yet-- our average last freeze is in late April and our average last frost isn't until early May. With the cooler air arriving this weekend, we DO run the risk of some frost and even a freeze in spots. We're still days away from this, but here's a preliminary look at what we're expecting. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: Sun with high clouds. Mid 70s. WEDNESDAY: Scattered rain and storms. Severe threat with afternoon/evening round. Mid 70s. THURSDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Near 70. READ MORE: https://www.wkyc.com/article/weather/... At 3News, we’re here to share the stories that you say matter most to you.
