Batman is no longer alive. It is now up to the Batman Family - Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin - to safeguard Gotham City, give its residents hope, discipline to its cops, and terror to its criminals. You must develop into the next Dark Knight and preserve Gotham from chaos." Gotham Knights takes place in Gotham City immediately after Batman's death. His death, together with that of GCPD Commissioner James Gordon, has resulted in a crime wave across the city. As a precaution, Batman transmitted a last message, known as "Code Black," to the members of the Bat Family, entrusting them with the protection of the city. Accepting Batman's final wishes, the Bat Family has launched on a crusade to protect Gotham from the various criminals and supervillains that threaten the city, such as the Court of Owls and Mr. Freeze. Alfred Pennyworth, Batman's former butler, and GCPD Police Captain Renee Montoya have both pledged to help the Bat Family complete their objective. ▶Gameplay : The game is an open-world RPG in which players may explore all five boroughs of Gotham City. The Batcycle may be utilized to go about the city quickly. The game may be played solo, but it also has a two-person online cooperative option that lets the second player to drop in and out of missions at any moment. During a session, both players can play the same character. Furthermore, neither player has to be near the other and can explore various regions of the city at the same time. You may handle four characters: Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood. Each character has their own set of techniques, skill trees, special powers, gear, and suit styles. During the day, players will inhabit the Belfry, which serves as the team's headquarters of operations and allows them to transfer characters and prepare for the next task by managing progression, studying mission clues, creating and upgrading gear and suit styles, and so on. Players can also interact with other characters in the Belfry, such as Alfred Pennyworth. When you leave the Belfry, the game will fast forward to night. Attacks and abilities deal a fixed amount of damage, which is displayed on the screen whenever an opponent is struck. When a meter under the player's health bar is filled, they can use a special skill, such as Batgirl's ability to summon a swarm of bats. The bar may be recharged by inflicting basic strikes on opponents. Level growth for each character is accomplished by gaining experience by fighting foes and completing assignments.
