1957 Chevrolet Bel Air When someone thinks of a classic car, odds are they are picturing poodle skirts and a classic Turquoise 57 Chevy. Well this awesome 57 Bel Air 2 door Hardtop has come a long way from the stock classic it used to be. It has been fully restored in a semi-restomod style to give you all the bells and whistles along with the vintage look. The 2 door hardtop body is straight and solid with no issues. It is painted a nice Lemon Ice color that has a beautiful finish. All of the chrome and stainless trim is in great condition with a nice shine. All of the original style badging, emblems and ornaments are in place and cleanly mounted. The glass all looks great and has a slight tint in place for those sunny days. Custom AR polished wheels are found throughout and each is wrapped with a Mastercraft Avenger GT tire. Hop in a turn the key to hear the smooth running 350 under the hood roar to life. Not only does the engine run well but has a ton of chrome and polish components throughout. Yellow spark plug wires and yellow hoses were used in various places to create a nice clean look. Also working to create that finished appearance is the firewall which is painted to match the exterior, gloss black inner fenders and a custom front piece over the radiator support. A 4 speed automatic overdrive 700R4 mates up to the engine well and shifts like new. It has a great sound with dual exhaust running through flowmaster mufflers. The car really is a great driver and is just as much fun to cruise around in as it is to park and show off. The interior of it is completed in a custom Beige two tone cloth that was very well done. Chevy emblems and the Bel Air emblem were body color matched and custom embroidered into the seats. Other custom touches are found throughout with 57 being inset into the upholstery work on the doors and flames and a Chevy Bowtie found in the trunk. All of the seats are very comfortable and allow plenty of leg room. The front buckets are easily adjustable and frame the custom Beige center console which provides both extra storage and cupholders. The dash has been slightly customized with the addition of a custom stereo and thin underdash AC but otherwise has been kept in the original style. All of the trim used has just as nice of a finish as the stainless on the body. This is a very cleanly done 57 Chevy 2 door hardtop that always gets attention. These 2 door hardtops are some of the most desirable collection cars.
