RECIPE DETAILS: Creole Shrimp Pasta Recipe: Ingredients: ½ lb large peeled shrimp 2 cloves minced garlic 1 ½ cups of crushed tomatoes (unsalted) 2 tablespoons of olive oil 6 oz. dry thin spaghetti (3 servings) ¼ teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional) ¼ teaspoon salt (add more or less to taste for tomato sauce) ½ teaspoon of creole seasoning (Brand “Cajun’s choice: Louisiana foods or any creole seasoning blend with salt, red pepper, white pepper, black pepper, and garlic powder) ½ teaspoon dried parsley Directions: Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towels Place shrimp in a bowl with creole seasoning; then mix shrimp to coat with seasoning Heat a separate pot of water to boil for pasta While water heats, Sautee shrimp in a pan with olive oil on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
