It contains 30 verses (ayat) and was revealed in Makkah. The surah is named "As-Sajda," which means "The Prostration," because of the verse that commands prostration to Allah (verse 15). Key Themes of Surah As-Sajda: Affirmation of the Oneness of God (Tawhid): The surah emphasizes the Oneness of Allah and His absolute sovereignty over the universe.
