Wildcat is a wooden roller coaster at Hersheypark in Hershey PA. This was Great Coaster International's (GCI) first coaster! Built in 1996 this roller coaster was revolutionary because it was the first wooden coaster with a banked first drop! While this sounds exciting... and it is.. over the years the ride has gotten very rough and this is where Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) comes into play! RMC is known for turning old and rough wooden coasters into world class attractions that the public can enjoy! Well rumors have been spreading that this could happen to Wildcat.
