Try it now and enjoy the royal flavors. #KoftaDumBiryani #EidBiryani #EidSpecial 0:00 Kofta Dum Biryani 0:23 Kofta Mixture Preparation 2:40 Recipe Card Kofta Dum Biryani Ingredients for Kofta: Chicken mince 1 kg Green coriander 1 cup Red chili powder 1 tbsp Cumin powder 1 tbsp Coriander powder 1 tbsp Red chili flakes 1 tbsp Salt 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Oil (for frying) as required Ingredients for Boiled Rice: Water 7-8 cups Cumin seeds 1 tsp Black peppercorns 1 tbsp Star anise 1-2 Salt 1 tbsp Soaked rice 4 cups Ingredients for Kofta Dum Biryani: Oil 1/4 cup Onion (sliced) 1 cup Black peppercorns 1 tbsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Black cardamom 1-2 Tomato puree 1/2 cup Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Red chili powder 1 tbsp Coriander powder 1 tbsp Salt 1 tsp Prepared kofta as required Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt 1 cup Boiled rice Green coriander as required Lemon slices as required Yellow food color 1 tsp Brown onion as required Directions for Kofta Preparation: In a chopper add chicken mince, green coriander, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili flakes, salt, ginger garlic paste and chop it well. Make kofta shapes from this mixture and shallow fry them until 80% done. Set aside. Directions for Boiled Rice Preparation: In a pot, heat water and add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, star anise, salt and bring it to a boil. Add soaked rice and boil until 80% done. Strain and set aside. Directions for Kofta Dum Biryani Preparation: In a pot, heat oil and add onion. Cook until the onion is brown. Add black peppercorns, cumin seeds, black cardamom and mix it well. Add tomato puree and mix again. Add ginger garlic paste and mix again. Add red chili powder, salt and coriander powder and give it a good mix. Add prepared kofta and mix it again. Add Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt and give it a good mix. Now add boiled rice to it and garnish it with green coriander, lemon slices, yellow food color, brown onion and cover and steam over low flame for 10-12 mins. Now dish it out and serve. Your Kofta Dum Biryani is ready.
