We are bringing the joy and happiness of Onam to you, as well as sharing the Onam Sadhya that we have prepared at home.We hope you all have a wonderful Onam by preparing a variety of dishes at home. Wishing you all a very happy Onam. Our Sadhya includes the following dishes: Parippu (Daal), Sambar, Pulissery, Pachamoru (Sambharam), and Rasam as ozhichu curries to accompany rice. Pickles include lime and mango, and thoran contains Payar thoran and Beetroot thoran. The Sadhya is flavoured up with Kovakka mezhukkupuratti, Pavakka varuthathu, and Beetroot pachadi. Aviyal, an essential component of Onam Sadhya, is also included. Inji curry / Ginger Pickle is also prepared which is equal to 101 curries (folklore saying). In addition to Sarkara varatti, we made banana chips at home. To serve with Parippu Curry, Pappadam, and a spoon of Ghee included and a pinch of salt.
