11. A Plague Tale: Requiem | Ch.10 Bloodline

After infiltrating their benefactor's cult, The Count and Countess, Emilie revelations about La Cuna are discovered. The island was once home to a previous Carrier of the Macula. However, the writings discovered merely state that the carrier was moved, separated from their Protector by the Order meant to lookover the carrier. With no clue as to the Carrier's final resting place Amicia, Hugo, and Sophia setoff in search of the only clue they have - the chapel where the Protector herself was moved to. Perhaps there answers as to what befell the previous Carrier can be obtained... **** I'm kicking myself. Burnt out from my week away from home my befuddled mind tried to resume where I left off updating my Instagram and FB page with stills from the levels, a task I'd left off from chapter 8... After the meticulous combing I thought the videos all uploaded to YT and deleted them, only to realize while checking the playlist order for this video that Part 2 of chapter 9 never got uploaded... Unfortunately, Part 2 clocked in at enough GB that it was trashed outright and not recycled. Though now that I mention it, if art is more your thing rather than longform videos then check out my pages for cool videogame stills from whatever I happen to be playing on PC. Instagram usually gets them in blocked posts relevant by subject matter, while Facebook gets the whole album dump. Altogether I like to think the layout of the pics themselves tell the soft story of Plague Tale. Needless to say I'm a little irritated, because there was certainly some shocking revelations made. After all, at the end of chapter 9 - Tales and Revelations - Hugo does discover the well from his dreams as a stagnant, moss-grown pool without the healing properties of his vision. Hugo is devastated. Likewise, Amicia is beleaguered to see yet another crushing blow to Hugo's resolve even as she grapples with the fact that their relationship is one which seems to have occurred in the past. With determination enough for them both, Amicia convinces Hugo that they must continue their search for whatever the Order learned from the previous cure, certain that the answer to helping Hugo is in discovering however the Order aided the previous Carrier. It was another emotional high, something that Plague Tale dishes out in droves with each successive act. Thankfully there's far more to come.
