Bolivia's Death Road, also known at "The North Yungas Road," "Grove's Road", "Coroico Road," "Camino de las Yungas," and "Road of fate" is a 61-kilometre (38 mile) route leading from La Paz to Coroico in the Yungas region of Bolivia. Bolivia's Death Road is infamous for its extreme danger and was christened "the world's most dangerous road" by the Inter-American Development Bank in 1995. It was estimated that between 200 and 300 travelers were killed yearly along this road. There are crosses and other markings along the road where vehicles have fallen...
