How To Enable 2FA on Discord Server

How To Enable 2FA on Discord Server To enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for a Discord server, it's important to understand that 2FA is primarily tied to individual user accounts, not the server itself as a standalone setting. However, server owners can enforce a server-wide requirement for moderation actions. To do this, navigate to your server and click on the server name to open the dropdown menu, then select "Server Settings." From there, go to the "Moderation" or "Safety Setup" section. You will find an option labeled "Require 2FA for moderation actions." Toggle this setting on. Enabling this option means that any member attempting to perform moderation actions (like kicking, banning, or managing roles) within that specific server must have 2FA enabled on their personal Discord account. If they don't, they will be prompted to enable it before they can execute those actions. This significantly enhances server security by preventing unauthorized access to critical moderation tools, even if a moderator's account password is compromised. Remember, the server owner must also have 2FA enabled on their own account to activate this feature.
