Hi Guys, today I’ll show you how to make Moist Banana Bread. This is a great recipe to use up your overripe bananas. First heat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Link to Loaf Pan: http://amzn.to/2hrrVd1 Link to Cooling Rack: http://amzn.to/2gyMaRA This is a banana that was sitting on my counter with brown spots. I put these in the refrigerator yesterday and they look almost black on the outside. But they look just like the room temperature banana on the inside. In a bowl, mash 4 very ripe bananas, you can use a fork, no need to pull out a mixer. Add 2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 5 tablespoons milk, and mix well. Mix ½ cup melted butter and ¾ cup brown sugar. Add the butter/brown sugar mixture to the bowl with the bananas and mix well. In a separate bowl, add 2 cups all purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, few pinches of ground nutmeg, few pinches of ground cloves. Mix this flour mixture well. Add the flour mixture to the bowl with the banana mixture. Mix until combined. Add in ½ cup chopped walnuts (you can leave them out if you don’t like nuts). Fold the nuts in but do not overmix. Grease a loaf pan with butter and coat with flour, tap out the excess. Pour the batter in, even it out and tap on the counter a few times. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 - 50 minutes. Check the bread in the middle with a toothpick. If the toothpick is mostly clean with a few crumbs stuck to it, the bread is cooked. Cool on a rack until the pan is almost room temperature. It’ll take at least 30 minutes or longer. Run a butter knife or offset spatula around the bread and remove from the pan. It should just fall out. Slice with a serrated knife and serve alone or with soft butter. The top of the bread is a little crunchy, there’s great texture from the walnuts, it’s very moist and tasty. This bread is great for breakfast or a snack. Enjoy this recipe and let me know what you think in the comments below. Subscribe and I’ll see you next time. Thanks for watching :)
