"Make them feel good. Sometimes you need to go out of your way to do this because it's not about you, it's about the relationship. So it's okay. Push yourself a little harder. Sometimes you want to give somebody a compliment but you're not sure if you should. Just do it. Give compliments those people that are doing good in their life and maybe they don't notice it. You think they do, but they don't. So tell them. Give them compliments. Go out and buy gifts for people. And sometimes it's not about how much money the gift costs. Sometimes it’s the little simple things. I remember there was this one girl in my office when I worked at Xerox and once a month she'd go come around and put a little Hershey's kiss on top of everybody's table and we felt special but nobody knew who it was until we eventually found out who she was. And she’s a very important person in my life today. It was funny because no one knew. She didn't do it to get recognized. She did it because she was just giving a gift.
