IMOGENE & OPHIR PASS

Experience Imogene Pass and Ophir Pass beginning in Ouray (where we get mom's bathroom recommendations Ouray Visitor Center and Fellin Park). After airing down the Jeep Rubicon's tires, they begin the trail driving through many streams and climbing the second highest driveable pass in Colorado! Off roading is a workout! We burn so many calories! The San Juan mountains are BEAUTIFUL, they see many waterfalls, run into some traffic, Tomboy Mine, and complete that Imogene in Telluride. Due to Covid, they choose not to go anywhere in Telluride, and continue onto Ophir Pass (Madison's favorite). The small rock covered mountains are AMAZING! Ivan falls asleep (of course), we see an elk, some snow, finish the trail and head back to California! All the gas station restrooms are closed, so we water some desert plants.
