What a Healthy Apology Actually Looks Like • Reflections on Dr Tony Evans • Black Women Healing 🤎✨

I’ve always admired Dr. Tony Evans. So reading “Tony Evans Will No Longer Lead Dallas Megachurch After Restoration Process for ‘Sin’” grieved me deeply. A healthy apology names what happened without deflecting. When leaders use vague phrases like undisclosed "sin,” it’s an active choice to hold spiritual authority while keeping control of the narrative. That language sounds humble and but it protects power, not people. There’s a difference between restoration and reputation repair. Transparency and accountability are not optional if you’ve harmed others. Without naming what broke trust, you can’t rebuild it. This story is a reminder for all of us to practice healthy repair in our own lives, i.e. naming, owning, and changing. 👇🏽 If you’re ready to do your own healing and accountability work with guidance and compassion, learn how to work with me as your coach → http://www.glamazini.com Here is the article: "Tony Evans Will No Longer Lead Dallas Megachurch After Restoration Process for ‘Sin’" https://julieroys.com/tony-evans-will...
